Pattaya Bay which is a part of the Gulf of Thailand is one of the most popular locations for Aussies to visit. Along the bay is a beach that goes for several miles. To the north and south side of the bay are rocky hills.. Naklua in the north and Jomtien to the south. Off the coast of Pattaya lies an archipelago. Many Australians stay during the holidays in Pattaya, others will go during the off season for a few weeks or a couple of months. If you look closely, a member of the Thai royal family has a house in the hills between Jomtien and Pattaya.
Many locals to Pattaya have nicknames: Partaya, Patpong on steroids (also the title of a book). This beach is considered Disneyland for adults.
